- you do not need a site to join, just a valid email address!
- if you do have a site, please have a code up before joining, or i won't add your link.
- please do not hotlink the codes, upload them to your server!
- if you submit anything offensive, or have numbers/symbols in your name, i'll have to edit it!

- when donating, art can be from official sources or your own art!
- you can donate fan art, but please get permission from the artist first before donating!

mayu shoot
mayu shoot is a game developed by harukaze, and was released in august 2002. it is a side-scroller shoot-em-up game, in which you can play as either of these characters: tsuguna, ryouri, rim, mayura, alto, and sakura. the game is set in a magical fantasy world in which you must destroy enemies on-screen and get the highest score!! each character has a different shooting style, and a little pet to accompany them and act as a second attach which can damage multiple enemies on screen.
running this gamewindows: run in compatibility mode
linux: run in wine, however there are a few issues
wine issues (that are known)
- opening does not play
- playing the game with the music in .mp3 format causes a really weird bug in which navigating the start menu will play the "mayu shoot!" line over and over instead of the select noise.
- most music files ingame are in .mp3 format so they will not play.. run MSConfig.exe and change the type to .wav and it should work.
- can't run the game windowed
- cannot get past the first level (not sure if this is just a skill issue)

what are ukagakas?
to put it shrimply, an ukagaka [or 何か/ghost] is just a little desktop buddy. they can be anything from a small little cat that just meows on your screen from time to time, to a fully fledged character with all the features you could think of, at least within the limitations of the software.
what i personally like about ukagakas is the more technical side behind them, and the history. i like to go out on searches for old ghosts, and ghost related content.
this is a fanlisting and shrine dedicated to ukagakas as a whole.
