PangYa is THE anime golfing game. Quoting Wikipedia, "PangYa was a free-to-play MMO casual golf simulation video game, designed by South Korean development company Ntreev Soft for Microsoft Windows. Although the game was a realistic simulator, it had fantasy-themed courses and anime-style characters, and the game made use of microtransactions to customize characters. Released in its home country in 2004 before expanding to Japan and other territories, it was released the following year in North America published by GameFactory, where it was initially titled Albatross18."

I first discovered this game from a gif of Miku in a hello kitty outfit, and said "I want to play this game!", until I realised the servers were long gone. I then managed to find a copy of the game for the wii, which I then gifted to my friend, and played a little bit of it at his house, and I enjoyed it a lot! Some time later, I found out about the private server, "Pangya Reborn", and have been playing on that server since late 2024 (aka when I finally got a machine that could run the game pretty well. sorry umineko..)

My favourite character, if you couldn't tell is Kooh. Her whole reasoning of playing PangYa is to find her father who went missing since his fight with the Demon King. She then became captain of the Lunar Tomb and lead the people to the Realms of Pangya, which is where her father set forth before going missing. Her hobbies are collecting dolls and weapons (I would do that too tbh), annoying her crew (I would do that too tbh), and mending her fathers cannon. I like her mostly because she's really cute, her backstory is interesting and a she's nice character to play with. The clothing choices for her on Pangya Reborn are endless and her outfits are all just so cute.

My favourite map of all time HAS to be Wiz City. The magic carpet makes a really nice sound, the architecture is cute, and I love the pinks and purples around. That's it.
